I thought I had read enough to tell me it was ofc but I bought a roll of it and it was cca for sure. It was light weight compared to my ofc I have now and the centers of every strand was silver (aluminum).

Trust me I wanted the stuff to be legit wire but it was not when I bought it. If you feel like gambling your money go for it, just saying what I found in my own experience.

edit: It was not the elite soft touch though FWIW

Mine was this stuff.

Here is a review someone posted on amazon on the soft touch db link 0 gauge.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap wire March 2, 2013

Id like to say the wire is copper clad but at best its a mix between copper clad and plain aluminum. There were strands that were not even covered in copper. I did not test or install the wire because of this. I wouldn't suggest this wire to anyone but if its your only option then i suggest not running very many watts through this wire. After this purchase i decided to buy some 100% copper 0 guage wire and it doubles if not triples the weight of this wire suggesting that its made with cheap products... Emailed amazon and got my refund with no problems thankfully that is the only good thing i can say about this. Josh
