2008 Saab 93 Walled *Vids Page 7* - Digital Designs Build

I know you accomplished the 150 from the trunk, so whats your goal now?

155 windows down/door open on dash, at my peak. (unless for some reason I peak super low)

hmmm, you might get 155, but you'd most likely need to be tuned pretty high. im tuned about 45hz with with more power and im in 155s peaking at 50hz. tuned to 36hz I was only getting a 150.4, those were in the kick though, cant remember my dash scores. hopefully youll get there, ive seen it done before, but maintaining musical playability usually becomes an issue.

150.4 in the kick? i was doing a 150 kick in the trunk with 2 9512s. tuned daily.

yeah, I was doing 150.4 with out the wall sealed off tuned to 38hz, huge gaps on the sides, since I run components down the sides, we didn't have it sealed off then, so not sure what it really could have done with baffle in sealed, probably close to 1.5 db gain since I went from a 154.4 to a 155.6 after adding my baffle with the tuning now.. my car metered great being tuned 30-34hz out of the trunk, but walls are a whole different game, especially car to car, mine just didnt like it I guess.

yeah, im sure you will be, with an m4a definitely, with just those m2b is what I was talking about. I didn't see you were thinking of upgrading to that. heres those gaps I was talking about, about 7-8' wide and goes all the top to bottom, that's why I was metering so low, but jumped up quite a bit after sealing off and baffle was put in.

Ill be back friday for sure. I may not glass til saturday tbh. I need to look at prcing again. Maybe 2 M4's would be better. 2 M4a's would just be a silly amount of power for daily and I would need to switch to 4 9515s which in reality is alot of money and beat for my car.

So we shall see but for now 2 M2b's will get me through the next few months.

The glass made my box ugllllly. So i really tried smoothing it out in the port because I'm going to paint it.

I need some major help!

1) what paint to use on fiber glass? Do I need a primer too? And how many coats? I'm making it black.

2) IS it dumb to screw my face on rather than wedge it? I already know that wedging it will be a disaster waiting to happen... So is it alright to screw it on? Will it technically add port length on just the one side since the port is built to the length with a wedge face???

HELP!!
