Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! goodvibez Posted October 23, 2013 Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 Figured I'd do something to pass the time while I save up some cash for the new gear so I found a gmc logo off of a 91-99 gmc and wanted to try something, here goes. First popped out the red plastics. Then used some paint ment for appliances(never used before) works ok but does not like to be sanded, wet sanded so many times and could not get it to come out very good. used some silicone and stuck um' back in Waiting for it to dry and stuck on some doublesided trim tape Will put it on in the morning and post tomorrow. Probably won't start the rebuild untill christmas, becuse we get at least a week off at work and it would give me plenty of time to do everything right! Decided I also will be doing some carbon fiber up in this bish, subs will have cf dust caps. I'll wait till I get them so I can get some samples to match up the rest of the interior. GMC badge came out great! Would have last week but went to place my order and noticed my card just expired and had to order a new one...friggin pissed! The subs I think were sent out today or maybe will be on monday. I was bored at work and opened one up to show all my co-workers Went home and opened the rest Heres just a bunch of random pics I took of them I know its a little over kill on pics of the subs but I'm so stoked to have them! :) :) BTW I know I said I was going to do lvl4's but I said screw it and got xl's! Why not right?! I know the RF 2500's will be on the low side for pushing them, but oh well! If I feel they need more powa I'll invest in some 5k's and maybe a few more batts but first I have to get these in!
