Audio Customs
i havent built the box yet or ordered the subs the amount of air space that i have before sub and port is 4.45 cubic foot the subs that i might go for are the Audio Technix Strato 10D2 for ported is from .8 - 1 cubic foot it will be 4 of them the ? do you think running 4 3" areo ports will be ok my box dims are bottom haft is 9.5x 59x17 = 4.13 plus top haft is 3x59x8 = .32= 4.45 so after port and sub displacement with the 4 3" at 12" long 3.73 and my tuning is 35Hz so each sub is getting .93. so is it too small for port ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/121096435063 cone area http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/6819-cone-area-of-a-subwoofer/ 4th order band pass basic http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/126478-basics-of-a-4th-order-bandpass-enclosure/ this is Torres box calculator My GUI Box Tuning Calculator Download - Updated 8/18/2012
CleanSierra
That's plenty of space for a 10" ported. Would be more efficient of a box with a little more air, but the port settle should compensate for efficiency if you use true flared aeros Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
