Creative 4Gb Ipod for the Kenwood Excelon KVT-817

Does anybody know if those "Creative 4gb ipods" are any good? It says up to 4k songs if dats all u have is songs on it. Thats really all I want it for cuz Im gonna have the same head-unit in my car as what Im going to put in the truck so basically I can just switch to whatever I feel like driving for that day instead of hauling a bunch of CDs around. Plus Im gonna need it when I get my BTLs and 8k rms pop'n off in the truck cuz I just know dat shit is gonna skip so I figure a 6 disk changer under the seat and Ipod aught to cover that. I already know somebody is going to say get a bigger one but 4gb is the biggest the jack for the Kenwoods will accept.

creative doesnt make ipods and 4k songs with 4gb lol yeah right only if you decide to use the shittiest audio files you can find its more like 1k of songs.

They are on ebay for about 160 shipped. I just looked at the ipod hook-up for the Kenwood again and I noticed it said the only pods I can use are Apple 2gb,4gb,mini and the nano....So What I might do is get 2-4gb Apple's cuz they dont hold as much as the Creative Ipod does. I think the Apple 4gb holds around 1k songs maybe a lil more, but 2 of em aught to be enough for me.....I have almost $10k in my CD collection (an accumulattion over the past 12yrs, I buy alot of  CD's at 1 time). But anyway 2k songs aught to be enough for me considering all the CD'z that I already have

no no no youre not getting it creative doesnt hold more a gigabyte is a gigabyte its not like creatives gigabytes are bigger than apples. they just overrate the songs. basically its saying it can hold 4000 1mb songs but in reality most CLEAR songs are 4-5mb so apple is def more around the amount it can acutally hold. CREATIVE DOES NOT MAKE IPODS!!! please do not buy 2 4gb ipods... thats so dumb... just get a 30gb ipod video... and $10k in cd collections you should be looking more toward the 60-80gb ipods

and so far as my CD collection I was just saying that I have alot of CDz and that now I dont really buy CDz like that anymore Id rather just get the songs off that I want to really pump like that or get them off I-tunes. "Noob" lol...whatever, just because someone is new to the site doesnt mean they are new to car audio...I just dont know much about Ipods...so what.

k well steve said he had one in his FORD TAHOE aka CREATIVE DOES NOT MAKE IPODS if they do then fords make tahoes... and 2 4gb ipods is one a waste of money and two a pain in tha ass...

oh btw ipods are mp3 players... creative makes mp3 players but not ipods. ipod is just a name that apple gave to their mp3 player. i think creative gave their mp3 player the name "zen" and some other names of different models
