Karkov Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Ok so i have 2 underhood batteries and a 370 amp Mechman Alternator running 2 Rockford T2500-1bd to 4 Rockford POWER 15" T2 using all Rockford wiring and all power and ground cable is 0 gauge, speaker wire is 8 gauge. I would like to have only one battery (XS Power) inside the vehicle in the rear by the equipment. Assuming I have to potential to have roughly 5k+ RMS watts what would you guys recommend for which single XS Power battery to use back there? I want to avoid bus bars and both amps will of course be hooked to this single battery. I understand their site shows recommended wattage for each battery usage but maybe I wouldn't need the 5000 watt one, or maybe i would need an even bigger one or would you guys straight suggest i just run 2 (or 4)?? Please and thanks in advance for any input you guys can give me. Open to all options but REALLY would like to only use 1 battery inside the vehicle.
