found more bullshit, the stripped about a 1/2 inch off the jacket in the middle of this 4 gauge, and wrapped around another kind of 8 gauge wire and black taped it up. SMH

Heres the subs in then out of the box

shave out some trim and got the batteries placed, need to shim the left one about 1/4 of an inch but the space is perfect for the BEAST BATTS

Those amps do look small to be 4000.1. I can't believe they spliced that 8 ga in like that.. Did you make a walk around video of the original install yet? Tuned in for this

no i did not i should have, its terrible, theres a lot of pics through these pages though of everything, and i keep finding shit as i go along it just keeps getting worse, lol

if the rain stops during the evenings the next few days I will have a lot more done, need to wire the subs with 8 gauge, I think it had 14 or 16 gauge on there before, lol yea,

and wire up the batts, install amps ground everything to death and then it will be playing

Oh and also need to redo the box, look at that fucking carpet job, that brings up another point, this box needs a double baffle, im going to plot it to see wtf its tuned to, hopefully its no higher than 34 but knowing the shops i'd guess its tuned to 40
