Neckbeard
So, If i am going to be running 2800w of audio shiz. Do i need a second battery IF i have a 250a alt (at 14v) and one XS D3100? But if i can get away with not spending a extra $500, that would help a little lol Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/

crunkjuice1
as things heat up under hood alt voltage will drop also. so the more cushion you have between amps and alt the better. you dont need handful of batteries just a good under hood battery and a beefy one in back.
