  1. Contact mechman, iraggi, DCPower or excessive amperage for a quote.
  2. Pics of the engine bay would help, but going by those dimensions it should be realitively easy.
  3. Fuck that! When the time comes I might just go pick up my batteries and you know... Go over to mechman too
  4. No one makes a bracket for my truck either... If you're willing to travel ask irragi. I know he does multiple alt kits. The only thing is... You have to actually go see him. :/
  5. I'm hoping for concrete walls, inch thick lexan windows, 18v, either smd v2s or level6s, A million watts? 180db?! Only time will tell
  6. I agree to the terms and conditions. 2006 hummer h3. It's getting a rebuild. Good luck kbass302
  7. ive used FatMat, Dynamat, and soon I'm getting alpha damp and some damp pro. FatMat is just terrible all the way around.. like Jon said it smells and doesn't stick very long. Dynamat is better than FatMat but i just want something better. I got the samples of alpha damp and damp pro Jon sent me and compared them to Dynamat. The alpha damp is WAY better quality than Dynamat, and LOL at FatMat compared to alpha damp.. damp pro and Dynamat are very similar but I feel that damp pro is going to be a little better quality. The alpha damp is going on my roof and the damp pro is going everywhere else.
  8. You might upgrade your stock battery too... Shouldnt be needed since you're getting an alt and an extra D925. Just something to think about.
  9. upgrade the wiring, get a bigger battery, do the big 3 lastly. invest in a DD-1.. its the BEST investment I've made in car audio. period.
  10. from what I've read, extra batteries only take like 10 amps (each) or so to charge. you should be ok. you just might have to top them off every now and then with a charger.
  11. oh really? ok hmm I guess that last owner decided to fix a D35 yellow top in it. sucks that GM made the 2006s different than any hummer year made =/. my uncle is cool tho hes going to help me make a custom battery mount so I can get a D3400. I gotta take the truck to his house so we can see if I can fit a D3100... thats what I really what. I really wish I would have entered the sotm contest now. oh well
  12. thats what I was looking at. I just wanted to be sure.
  13. my optima battery is starting to go out. I couldn't start my truck this morning without a battery charger. anyway. is there a xs power d35? or something that will fit in a 2006 hummer h3?
  14. Trust me I have been looking at alt's but it,s going to take me a couple months to come up with $650 for shocks and struts so maybe by next spring I can get one.. as of now my setup is killing my lights and probably hurting the amp if under powered. before my h/o i would have lights pop every other week. yeah under powering an amp is bad. they get extremely hot and can damage easily
  15. you want 0 gauge.. especially for 2600 watts and 3 batteries. I did my first big 3 in 4 gauge because I had it left over and was short on cash also... I did notice a difference when I switched to 0 gauge. You also may want to look into a h/o alt when you can afford it.
  16. its reading 9volts? take the cap out and play a little bit without it. Possibly get a new battery or alternator too... 9volts is WAY to low. O_o
  17. same thing used to happen to me. i got a singer alt and an xs power d3100 and its great now.
  18. H/o alternator imo.. Plan on getting a better battery in the future too tho
  19. It needs to be hooked up to the alternator some how or you would have to charge it all the time. As for the isolator http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_28365_The-Install-Bay-IB500.html or any 500 amp will do.
