Before speakers or sound deadening Outside of drivers door before speakers or sound deadening. 10ga speaker wire ran and zip tied (took some time to figure out how to get them through the molex plugs). 10ga soldered and heat shrinked to mids Mid in sound deadening started. Blue
Looking nice man. Is taking the drivers door skin off the same as the passenger side even though it has the key cylinder in it? formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks
dugjt88
Yes every door skin is the same. Just watch out for the little purple "rubber bands" when taking the skin. They're easy to lose and break. I broke 2 putting it back together. They call me Girth "The Silo" Brooks- I ain't storing corn
dugjt88
And the key cylinder just pops right out. What I did was get a non-marking (nylon) trim tool and as I undid the screw to release the cylinder I lightly pryed the cylinder out that way I didn't back the screw out too far. dugjt88
Did some work on the box today. Installed T-nuts, and made some speaker terminals (ss bolts, washers, double lock nuts so it doesn't come loose and copper ring terminals) Also bought a bunch of rubber grommets to help isolate the amps. I have to mount them to the box since it (the box) takes up most of my trunk. I've got the inside braced front to back as well as top to bottom with a 2x4 Plan to mount the amps on top above the port wall and near the 2x4 and hope those braces working with the rubber minimize the vibration.
