In all seriousness, if you know the right people then DD's pricing isn't as bad as the interwebz makes out to be. Expensive yes. But you're paying for arguably the best stuff out there.HmmmmProof that they are the best? One can get much better for much less. Don't care who you know. I meant that they're arguably the best. When it comes to bad ass brands that no one argues about quality wise, there's tons of brands. DC, Sundown, DD, Atomic, Ascendant. The list goes on. But at some point i think to myself who the F&%$ is paying that PRICE lol not me. even if i had a million dollars 400 bucks for mid level / medium woofer X is a joke. especially when you know people getting em for a shade of that. there should be a single retail price, and if you want, a team price. then if say you buy 40 woofers a bulk discount. kinda thing. but when company x has a "sale" and their prices are rediculous, i think who the heck is paying "non-sale" price? I have been doing biz for a long time SALE PRICE means 3 things 1. Heres a sale price because they wont be here for a month or two, you save a little money, but money is being made off of your money for those 2 months, 2. Its on sale because the product is moving at an unacceptable rate causing high inventory problems, AKA too much money sitting in the warehouse, move some real quick and recoup some of those dollars and shift those dollars into the product that is selling at a more higher rate, and make more money. 3. Revers psychology Its all biz, In the liquor biz all sale prices are fake, meaning every product has a high front line example $19.99, but you will never pay more than 13.99-15.99 for the item, ever. So in other words the "SALE PRICE" is the common everyday price the product should be sold for, and the front line price of $19.99 is just to always make it look on sale. people dont think twice if an item "LOOKS" like its on sale, or LOOKS like they are getting a deal on it. DD just has not joined the "fake sale price" bandwagon The most successful people I know, mark up a product 4 times the cost, o if cost is $25.00 mark it up to $100.00, then show a 50% off sale price on the $100.00 WAS $100.00 SALE $50.00 Holy shit its half off buy now buy now!!!!!! the people I know using these strategies are millionaires Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
