To all the people have had many systems this will be my second does it sound like a good upgrade? (Edit) Also on the subs should I go 2 ohm or 4 ohm? Thanks!
john253a Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 What is everything you have already? Yourve only list sub stage nd h/u What size wireing and elect system What car And some measurement of the rear? Most upgrade in sections If you want a complete system upgrade then its ok Idd drop the cap and get better wiring and second batt Myself and your budget 2x sdc2.5 $140ea Sq1200d $270 (all on special at moment) So $550 for sub stage Idd then get some good fronts and run them on you current mid/high amp if you have Or h/u them until you get some better funds Something like the T165s for 160 and the the 700 Or if you want it all now for 700 I don't mind the sound of MbQuarts osc216 with oa240.2 both for 160(sonic) Don't forget wiring upgrades I did see it in you list And you will need it
TheSplizz Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Posted June 22, 2013 Its a single-cab 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage so I have no room I have to fit everything behind the seats! I only have 6 inches of mounting depth I have all good wiring just might need more for the second amp!
john253a Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 When you say 6" of m/depth Is that an angled box with 6 at tha bass Post some mesurments of what you want to give up, but ill look at the sa8v2 or the e8v3 You'll do 3 e8 in a nice ported box back there for $285 or 2 sa8v2 for $370 idd do 3x e8v3 on your budged with a sq1200d If you have the elec to back it up the sq1200d can run at 0.67ohm daily (3x d4) if not run it at 1.33 (3x d2)
Bship Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 I second sa8v2 for sure. what do you call good wiring? it's best to let us know what brand/size it is. Get component speakers front and rear, the difference is huge, you won't be disappointed. Overall, take your time and save the money. You will learn more while you save and if you are like me, change your mind like 100 times.
