Rich859
Ok so I've had this setup in my truck for about 3 months now, and it has been working fine, now all of the sudden I'll have power to the amp for about 5 minutes when I start my truck then its gone. I've already checked the wires going to the amp, The only things I havent checked are the ground to the truck floor, fuse from bat to amp, and remote wire on back of h/u. Am I missing something? jarrius
If your amp is not coming on it could only be a couple things. Power, ground, remote, fuse or fuse holder (I had a problem with mine and did not know it was broke till I took a really good look at it) if none of them it might be the amp. 2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d 140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed) 140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL 142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at) 141 on music. strangeduck,on 02 Jan 2014 - 01:39 AM, said: when my car spins out i just put the car in neutral, turn in the direction i want to go and pucker my asshole
Rich859
I might just replace the fuse and see if that works, the fuse looked like it was still good, but its been the same fuse for about 1.5 years now. The amp comes on then after a few minutes of light bass or heavy it just loses power. The power light on the bass knob fades from bright green to dull then off, and yes its the AQ 1200.
95neon_thumper82
possible overheating? I'd look at possibly cooling that bad boy down a lil bit too... does it go to protect mode or just shut down outright? <img src=http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w610/beastly666bassboy/IMG_9611192581855_zps9b9b76be.jpg border=0 alt= height="75" width="800"> Growing old is necessary... growing up is an option! Rich859
I don't see the protect light on and it has an AC vent right by it under my seat. I had this in my old truck under my seat with no ac vent and it was fine.
