Wood Posted June 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2013 I had a trunk build where I shoved a big ass box for 2 15's ported lol Then I switched to an suv lol Trunk build is in my sig btw Hey how do you like your kenwood? im buying the DDX770 on friday .. ive been a pioneer nuthugger on decks for the longest but im looking to try something new I like my Kenwood, but it's a very old unit lol, like from 2006, got it as a gift and plays my ipod, so can't complain lol Looks up to date to me lol as long as it works!!! haha, the only reason i have to buy a new dash is because i didnt think to take out my old indash when i traded my car... after thinking about it, i left my focal components, pioneer double din w bluetooth, and RF mids and high amp along with some old school pioneer 6x9s .... Lol well im not trying to go SPL where every decible matters, im going for for SQL, just running 2 sa12s and a RF 1500 .. nothing major but i want something that stand out from the everyday kicker, jl, memphis crap... and i understand what you mean about the sealing off, from my research and understanding, i dont think its worth my headache either... also as far as your beauty panel did it hinder sound traveling back to the cabin? i thought about a beauty panel but was going to use speaker cloth instead of full vinyl..
