7423cu in but there's quite a bit of reinforcement accounted for and whst not.

the subs are mtx thunder 7ks

the power is currently like 150wx2. but I have 375w a piece coming in the mail... which is why I'm trying to figure this out. they are rated for 400 rms. I ordered a 1600w 2 channel.

this box isn't that large in my opinion but I guess others think its HUGE! ITS A FULLY sealed box. and it thumps nicely even under powered but do I stand chace of truly messung things up with a lil more power?

the big box i finaly put in was with 2 sundown sa 12's and it was plenty big and fit jussstttt right :)

actually i think the 95 trunk is a tad bit longer/bigger

the dimension in the picture is the biggest you can go w/o building in the trunk!!!

urghh it wont let me post the pick its in a rtf file format i just threw together but i can give you the max dimensions

box width 31

box height 15.5 although id go to about 14.75 for clearence of the middle passenger thing so you can push the box in deeper

box top 20

box bottom depth 20

and i used 3/4 inch wood and made the cuts with re audio box calculator and it came out nice

also ask the lowes guy to cut the wood for you if he wont tell me not even for 15 bucks :) he will change his mind lol

also the final tuning was 27 hz 32 after displacements and port was 3 inches long/wide

WinISD Beta recommends 2.1 cubes for the T-7104, which is what I assume you have. So... 4 cubes isn't too large for two, even without bracing. Those are older subs and they weren't designed to run in small enclosures like subs are today. I would caution you against running too much power on them though. In a sealed box, they might handle 375 each okay but I wouldn't drive them too hard or for too long and I certainly would turn OFF any and all bass enhancement/boost switches or dials on the head unit and the amp.

k I'll definitely keep that in mind. and they are indeed old as hell so I can see that. I'm hoping they'll last me at least long enough to save up for my type r 15. I was looking at this week. :) lol... those things are siiiiccckkkk! :D but yeah. I tend not to run it anyway with the bass boost and that unless the subs aren't doing shit at non boosted levels... like with this dual amp when I hooked up my new head unit... I turned everything off and am runing only half boost right now (6db). I'm surprised these subs are still together. they haven't disintegrated yet... :) the surroubds are beautiful.... spiders are impeccable... surface wise. you can't tell much but you can tell theyve been babied :D
