I really don't care for it. its weak. its a 4ch but bridged it b only puts out 150w per chanel... and stated in the manual DON'T RUN A TWO OHM LOAD BRIDGED! I've got a 750w at two ohm amp coming so I said screw it lets see what happens. .. I don't care... I was bored. so I pulled my amp... stuck a 120mm fan blowing up into it and made the proper changes to allow such airflow. to keep the damn thing cool. so I bridged it.... and it would go sporadically in and out of protect... so I figured maybe a bigger main fuse (I had a 30 by the battery so I jumped to 40) I was trying to set gains... I would turn a lil bit and hit protect mode... starting at zero of course. so I figured ok more fuse... threw in a fifty up front and got NOTHING. so went back t othe forty up there and took to the internal fuses in the amp itself. it came with 25a fuses... I bumped them to 30s. and was able to get the gains set right to where they sounded good between 1/4 and 1/3 of the way up on both channels. I let it run for about an hour just so I could monitor everything. .. make sure no fires before I bolted this bastard back down lol. it got hot but I've felt it get just as hot at a lower out put. the fan seems to work perfectly. so my question is... what are my chances of a fire before the 8th when my new amp gets here? on a bad ass side note... cruised for a lil bit after my hard work... and got pulled over by local pd... he was looking at my shit and said dude good thing you got that amp tied down... with that fan its likely it would fly away otherwise! he knows my mom, the cop does. <img src=http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w610/beastly666bassboy/IMG_9611192581855_zps9b9b76be.jpg border=0 alt= height="75" width="800"> Growing old is necessary... growing up is an option! 95neon_thumper82 Posted July 4, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 4, 2013 well I was out and about pushing her hard. had everything booming and sounding really good. well about 15 minutes in I had an electric hot smell it was pungent. so I'm gonna back her down before I end up with a hot neon! lol... had everything shaking the rear view fell off and it was wonderful... so now I know what to expect when my new amp gets here! LMNO! they never blew... they weren't big enough for me to have enough power to push it out of its comfort zone so I changed out the perfectly good ones... lol I still haven't blown anything I just don't like the crazy hot smell she's having now so ueah the stock ones are going back in and the load is going back to 4 ohm no fires for this guys.... I was stoked to see all may shit rattling with awesomeness too... in a very progressive person that likes to push things... I overclocked the cpu on my laptop too so I like squeezing out all the goodness I can from things... they are just things and my new amp is coming so hey why not.. this amp is beat to shit anyways I've dropped it. scraped it up bumped it... lol its not gonna be selling very well I don't think so hey why not I'm a perv I know hehehe I might add that at least I'm running fuses... my cousin was running tin foil... yes foil... needless to say his bucket melted and caught fire fast as shit...
