An Attempt At Setting RF Amp X-Overs ... Opinions?

System in sig in current ...

I know it is essentially "personal preference", but maybe I can be pointed in the right direction so I can stop chasing my tail ... & getting back aches from getting in my trunk to play with amp settings ... Here is what is likely a simple dilemma:

The T400-2 runs my 6.5" components up front, passive x-overs ( http://us.infinitysy...-perfect61.html ). I have the selector on HighPass, but still needs to be set on something. ???

24dB-Octave Crossover
Sensitivity: 90dB
Frequency response: 75Hz – 23kHz, ±3dB

The T500-1bdCP runnin' the Fi's ( http://store.ficaraudio.com/ib312/ ) just keeps me befuddled. Some say 80-100Hz, others 100-120Hz. But when I set it there, I know I am missing so much other available frequencies for this type of IB setup, ... at least I think. Is 155Hz too high? I know these are subs, & they are made to go low, & boy they DO ... & to truly make up the separation, I would have to look into some sort of mid-bass addition ... maybe some 8's or 6.75's, or the like, on another amp to take up some of the fill between the subs, & these components.

PS: Yes, I have a DD-1, & have set the gains, ... I have even talked to 2 tech guys at Rockford about gains ... but each time I was a dunderhead, & forgot to talk to them about freq./x-over points. #Ugh.

Thank you, Folks.

Personally I'd set the HP filter on the T400 to the area of 60-80hz .... whatever sounds better to you...

as far as the IB's go..... Again you can set to 100hz and be done with it.... or go a little higher so it meet the components at around 80hz....

off topic - photos of IB setup pwease???

They fire up through the OEM 6x9 holes & other OEM holes & notches. Not a single hole or anything was modded.
