Dlongpine Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 I have 4 12inch kicker cvx's pushed by two kicker zx1500.1 I have a jvc KD-AVX77 stereo 2 kicker 1500.1 amps how do i set my stereo to my amps. becuase my stereo is 5v and my amps are 5v so what is the right way to do that, or could i take it to a shop and they could do it all?

jarrius Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 I think he's asking how to set his gains. You can take it to a shop but most still do it by ear so it will be off. You need a DD-1 to set your gain to have no distortion or a oscilloscope or set it with no distortion. Those who say take it to a shop need to be more specific, take it to a GOOD REPUTABLE shop who will use an oscop or dd-1...not their ear. Even if they have been doing it for 200years..i dont care. Or find a member on here that has a DD-1/oscope and will do it for you. I will do anyones in socal for free thats a member on here if they drive to me.
