Once I get the cash I will be upgrading the jl to a zuki eleets hybrid 5 channel, rated at 3x4 watts and 5x1 but puts out around 100-120x4 and 700x1

I still havent decided on my sub stage, looking into these set ups right now, single 8" dub 7 ported, 2 w3 8"s sealed, 2 arc 8"s sealed, 2 cdt carbon 8"s sealed, 2 jl w3 6.5"s ported or a single morel ultimo sc 10" sealed upfiring into the seat

I would look at stereo integrity 10" too. http://stereointegrity.com/

It's an sq sub that can work in a very small enclosure. Half a cube for the 12" and .35 for a 10" It will be close in cost to Morel. It is a shallow mount too.

Thanks man, I'll check it out

I need some help deciding on what processor to use max budget of $500. I was dead set on the 3sixty.3 but am second guessing it ever since I started to look into the ms-8, any suggestions? 3sixty.3, ms-8, minidsp?

I think the MS-8 might be your best bet. You can pick em up pretty cheap on ebay. They also have an auto eq feature. It's literally five minutes with the headset module and you're done.

Im going to be sub less for a while unless I decide to recone my epic 8 and pick up a small 2 channel for it and I only have 2 sheets of murder mat mdk left over from the f150 so I'll just have 1 sheet per door until I'm able to get some more

50' of black and 50' of red shca cca 4ga, I bought this a while back to replace the audiotechnix 4ga speaker wire in the f150 but figured I'd use it on the jl amp in the sierra since its only rated at 70x4 @ 4 ohm so the cca should be plenty for a 280w amp

Im ordering a spl audio recone for the epic 8 tomorrow and depending of how bad db-r hits me for repairing my blown bc3500 I'll be getting either a ppi p600.2 or an audiotechnix 400.1 to power the epic.

Since I finally got everything I'm going to start wiring up the truck tomorrow

epic 8 recone is ordered, I'm going to start running the wires this evening but still cant decide on the amp for the epic, at 400.1 @ 1ohm or a ppi p600.2 bridged at 4ohm, any one have any other suggestions for the sub amp? looking for around 500w at either 1 or 4 ohm and under $150
