Using a dual input aq3500.1, I have trunk walled my car,spent 300$ on deadener,spent 1100$ on batteries,alt and 0 guage copper. Spent 1000+ on a custom sundown sub. It is stupid loud small hair tricks(lifts hair only a few inches) but no where near 150,I wish you luck with everything. Some cars are just a PITA but you never know the results untill finished. Put every thought and quality craftsmanship into your work and you should have decent results. i had a hdc3 18 previously, and my setup was pretty "noobish" but i had pretty good results. i had a really basic box, and planet audio bb2400.1(maybe 600-700rms) with pretty much 1 run of 4 gauge power wire and stock 100a alt with 1 extra cheap normal car battery in the hatch. i achieved a 147.6 with it, it surprised the hell out of me. theres no dout in my mind that i could have got a 150 from that just from upgrades & a stronger amp. Like now i have a dc power 220a alt, 4 runs of 0ga(2 positive and 2 neg) front to back batts. i was just curious what i could do with a single hdc3 15. i may just get another good 18 and try that again but with more power of course.
