FCS530
Best thing I can suggest is pay attention and obseve everyone else! I've been to 3 shows now and I am starting to get the hang of things. Take advice and suggestions and ask questions. I'm sure you won't be the first new comer! One of the guidelines I read in the rule book is that veterans are encouraged to help out rookies! Oh, and don't qualify higher than you can handle! Maybe even stay low until you get the hang of it! Several systems, several vehicles. Always changing! 2013 MECA State Champion (trunk 1) 2014 MECA State Champion (mod 4) 2014 MECA state Champion (Park and Pound 4) 2014 DBDRAG 6th place North America Finals (SS1-2) 2014 BASS RACE 6th place North America Finals (139.9)

775Tundra
also, bass race is an average score so you want to make sure you hit play at "set"(ready, set, go). i screwed that one up this past weekend. 2003 Tahoe dc 7.5k dc level 5 15's (3) MMats 341's xs power batts lots of sky high cable dual alts(came off the sky-high gmc and don't know who made them) ipad in center console vu-din in center console all being ripped out and being sold

Ya. so if the first 2 seconds u have 0 db and then the third you have 120, you only have a score of 40. 2007 Ford Focus SES Hatchback Pioneer HU 4 Digital Designs 9515i's in a B pillar. 2 Soundstream XXX 15K's (running at 16 volts) Soundstream Mids/Highs in custom door panels (getting rebuilt soon) Soundstream TA2.160 and TA2.400 Sky High and KNU wiring 3 Banks of Maxwell caps Winston Lithium (not a fan) Bump4Life 250 Amp Alt. aka USAlternators Soundstream Focus and Avenger Build Log Instagram @p4linnovation YouTube: Team Blowin Loud

Correct. It really screwed me. I plan on doing test runs local to know what volume I need to be at from the beginning and train on reaction time. 2003 Tahoe dc 7.5k dc level 5 15's (3) MMats 341's xs power batts lots of sky high cable dual alts(came off the sky-high gmc and don't know who made them) ipad in center console vu-din in center console all being ripped out and being sold
FCS530
Depending on your tuning frequency, I recommend e40 gargoyle serenade for bass race. Very consistent, predictable bass line. But whatever song you do decide on, make Damn sure it has at least 30 seconds of straight bass line. Saw MANY new guys doing decent and then have the bass drop off in a certain part of the song. And make sure you can get back to it quickly in case of a tie, it gives you 30 seconds to reset! Several systems, several vehicles. Team Bassick - Kimo
Young Jeezy has been the old reliable for a lot of veterans. I know I still use it but, depending on your tuning you may want something else. 30 second constant bass note without many dips is best. Especially to control the 9.9 without breaking over to 0.0. Also about using ipods,mp3, bluetooth all is allowable now. However, as far as I know the music has to be commercially available. So no chopped and screwed oh and NO TEST TONES. Has to be music. Good Luck man and I look forward to your follow up after the show. Bass Race is like a drug and can be very addicting.
