  1. This is awesome! So proud to be acquainted/friends/basshead fam with Brent. Wish he lived closer sometimes. That picture could be considered historic in our world...
  2. ^^^Another screen name to a face. Good meeting you and hanging out!
  3. I know it was greatly appreciated! So many of those guys wearing their winnings like trophies! I'm sure just that made it worth the trip for them! I know I'm really a nobody in all of this, but I would like to personally thank you for the expense, time and effort, even though I didn't win anything. Lol!
  4. Almost had words with the dude sitting in my chair at the meet when my back started to hurt. When I got through the crowd to give him the boot I decided it was all good! You were probably on your feet more hours than I was that day! Shame about the lack of demoing, but you livened the party up for a while. All that stuff for the raffle was great.
  5. Not going into CES but will be there for both days of competition/shows. Will be demoing as much as possible!
  6. I just meant there's not a lot you can do about the port ratio. It is what it is. To make it more acceptable would be well out of your sizing limits. I'm sure it will sound great!
  7. I don't think it's grossly oversized. Just be careful on the lows. Set the subsonic. As far as ratio, it isn't the most efficient, but what are you going to do? Sacrifices must be made when working with limited space.
  8. I have a single sa-8 in the trunk of my civic right now. It is unbelievable how much sound and movement I get out of it. Shakes the sunroof even! My box is .75 cubes (after displacement). 2 3“ Aero ports tuned around 35. The problem with the aeros is that they are each 25“ long. Tough to have a tiny little box with crazy long pipes sticking out of it. For compact I would think slot port might be easier.
  9. The stock motor can do that!? Holy crap! And to hear that blow off valve out of a RZR! Hell yes! If this happens, I would like to request a ride! The chopped up bed isn't required, is it?
  10. Thanks for the heads up! I think that fraudulent buyers remorse cases are exactly the kind of thing that should be brought to the attention of others. I'm sure his mommy was pissed when she realized how much he spent on stereo equipment and he was desperate to get his money back. I know I usually sell things in order to buy something else, and don't always have the funds to play "gimme my money back" with kids. How can PayPal even get involved with something like this? What if he had burned it up? 8 days later? It only takes 2 seconds for a dumbass to burn an amp. Even a DOA guarantee is long gone after 8 days. PayPal is overstepping their bounds for sure! This just sucks!
  11. BTW, I have had mine on about 1500 watts and have yet to bottom it out. The box is .75 cubes tuned to 47ish. I know it has seen down to 32hz in that box.
  12. One thing that happened to mine at first, I didnt break it in enough (at all)! LOL! But anyway, the plastic spider holder doohicky came loose from the basket and was slapping around. I too thought it was bottoming because of the noise, but upon further inspection I found the real problem. I glued it back down with some epoxy and its been good since.
