popping and loud feedback???amp power LED pulses with music.. video added

I was driving home from work and had the system turned up. I had my LC1 turned all the way down and started to turn it up and heard a popping noise. I turned it back down then slowly back up-again popping but sounded like it was from the doors not the sub. The LC1 was now turned all the way down and I was now getting no music at all and nothing but loud notes/feedback/popping from the doors. I shut the car off and re-start, same thing. The volume was turned all the way down on the head unit but the noise was at full tilt???? I pulled the fuses out of the mids/highs amp and turned the head unit off. Anyone run into something like this? Im thinking its either my head unit or the amp, but kinda leaning to the head unit since the volume sounded like it was full tilt although it was turned all the way down. I've never had any issues with my system until this. I do get the "turn-on" pop from the mids/highs amp which from what I've heard is common for the older nendo 1000c4.

So I just went out and looked and now it seems to be working fine. I am turned it up with bass off and noticed that the power LED on he amp goes dim and almost cuts out on the 4 channel with the beat of the song?I took a video and will post in a minute

RCA could be bad. But I had tht happen with my last pioneer. Are the rcas grounded? One day we can try your amp in my truck to test the amp if you want

If it was a bad RCA, could it cause no music to be played across all the channels on my 4 channel and just that popping/ tone type noise? And in case someone asks, the gains were set with the DD1 when I got the amp Feb of last year and has not been touched. None of the equipment has been messed with in close to a year as well. Whats really throwing me off here is that the volume was turned all the way down and there was still the noises described going off at full tilt, at least it sounded like that
