Getting Closer... Wiring diagram.

Recommended Posts

Been planning a system for almost 2 years now (Not dedicated to it but it has been on my mind and have been looking for a vehicle since). FINALLY found a vehicle that will work for what I want and for a decent price. Its over at the mechanics today getting a few things looked at before I purchase it. Its a 2006 Dodge Durango. This will be my first time I dig into a cars electrical guts so I am trying to make a game plan.

I made a diagram of the wiring for amps/alt/batteries etc. Does this look correct?

Alt > Batteries > Busbar > Amp > Speaker

Head Unit > Prossesor > Amp > Speaker

A forum member asked what equipment I was planning on using this was my reply to him.

I'm still doing my research but I was planning on using......

Head unit is still up in the air I am liking the Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS (was going to make a thread about this).

Possessor

RF360 obviously

Batteries

4-6 XS Power 12V 3100

Speakers

Mids/highs 4x sets of RF T3652-S

Midbass 2x JL ZR800-CW

Sub 2x SMD/AA 18 2ohms (might use DCLevel 6 18s)

Amps

1x T400-2 mindbass

2x T600-4 one amp each for mids and highs

2x DC Audio 5ks strapped for the subs

Alternator

I definitely need some advice on this LOL I was looking at 1 Mechman 320 or two 240's.

The itty bitty one. lol 3.7L. That why in my second diagram I just used one alt I cant find a bracket for two. I am assuming you are talking about the alternator?

Where are the fuses?

Well there is one from the alt to the battery. Amps are fused individually? Im not sure I understand your question.
Redid sub amp. For some reason I didn't think it was possible to get a 1 ohm load with the equipment I wanted. Not something I can do in my head must have ran wrong info in the calculator.
1x DC10k 1ohm
2x AA/SMD 1ohm
Sub will be my last project. HU/Possessor/Midbass/Mids/Highs and there amps will be first.
