RidingTooLow Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 Yes if you don't damage it or the driver. What would be the advantage of doing so?
03 Xtreme Fosgate Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 I'm curious as to what kind of tweeters they are? Never really heard of one having the xover soldered to the terminal like that.. I wouldn't bother moving it if they work like they are BUILD LOG-http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179004-03-s10-xtreme-ext-cab-rf-build/ PHOTOBUCKET- http://s1354.beta.photobucket.com/user/03XtremeFosgate/library/truck%20audio%20rebuild
ham4864 Posted July 28, 2013 Author Report Posted July 28, 2013 i just want to move it out of the way further down line so i can mount it better. its soldiered to the positive .I have seen other like this also. 2009 bmw 5 series Head Unit Stock Amplifier-JL Audio JX 360/4 Processor- Audiocontrol LC6
Pioneerchuck Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 You can move it farther down the line. Its my personal preference to make sure the terminal is clean after i remove it. Just heat it up with a soldering iron and remove it.
