_94fleet Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 so my batt in the trunk is grounded to the trunk floor and amp to batt. i got about .5 resistance on that ground. should i replace or just leave it and add a run to the front batt? im also curious what bad could this gnd be doing if any? i havent had any issues yet. just surprised amp hasnt blown fuses since it only has 160 amp worth of fusing and sounqubed says to use 380. AMI CUSTOMS Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 Read voltage at the battery with the DMM, then move the negative probe to your ground point and leave the postive on the battery positive, voltage should be exact same, if not bad ground, move ground, clean to bare metal and make it tight. If you can move the terminal it is a weak connection.
