XS Power

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm about to buy my first stereo. I just ordered the ddm3b and a rf t400. Going on one aq hdc318, soon to be fi sp4 or a dd sub:) for power i got all 0gauge. Im thinking one d3400 in the front and a d3100 in the back at the start, I have a 120amp alt, will it work for a little while? Ive talked to singer, they have a 220amp for about 500$. Is there much of a difference from 120 to 220? The car is a 99 passat, thanks:)

Yes there will be a difference with the 220a alt compared to your 120a alt. I have 2 d3100s and a d4700, 200a singer alt powering my aq3500 @ .5 and I normally drop down to 13.1. You're headed in the right direction but I think you'll need a bit more electrical

Did you ask Mechman and DC Power for alt´s, maby they have a stronger one. 300+ would be nice and from the price´s, if there over the offer

from Singer, than isn´t it much.

i believe mechman makes a 320 amp unit for that car
