Did you order a 2 ohm speaker? If not, send it back and make them send you the right one. Wiring a 2 ohm DVC in parallel will result in a 1 ohm load. Wiring it in series will give you a 4 ohm load.

Wiring the 4 ohm DVC in parallel will give you a 2ohm load and wiring it in series will give you a 8ohm load.

If the amp you have is the Kicker ZX1500.1, it's specifications are for 2ohm 1500 watts.

I don't think there's a way to wire a dual 2ohm and dual 4 ohm together to get a 2 ohm load. People do not want to try to tell you a way to do something because they are trying to help you to not hurt your equipment. They are trying to do you a favor.

I think that would work out best for you. If you are like me, you are trying to get it together asap to see the results. It's hard to wait some times, but I think it's worth it this time. Good luck!

If you cannot exchange the 4 ohm sub, sell it and buy another dual 2 ohm.

You can then wire properly and end up with a 2 ohm final load.

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
