Help finding alt

Its a 2013, good luck finding an alt.

Also it will more then likly be computer controlled, so youll want to externally regulate it, whicj will give you a battery light or engine light.

You may need to buy a OEM alt to send to a company to have them ser what thry csn do Because chances are they have never seen it

ok, so i have another question because it seems as if i may be running out of options...i currently have a DC Power 300A alt for my 2001 blazer...now, understand my desperation before you make a smart-ass comment on what im about to ask

can I, at ALL use this alternator in a 2013 Dodge Durango with a custom bracket? or is it absolutely impossile because its a completely different car manufacture and different engine size?

Yes you can A GM alt is the best way to go as they have the DR44 One of the most common alts there is

So I would obviously need a bracket correct? But a GM alt would fit in a dodge vehicle?

...? you have some input you would like to share? because he (and I) were both looking for options so input as opposed to 'heh' would help.

Looked into DC alts, they look great but start at $449 for my vehicle and really, I don't need to spend $500+ (with shipping etc) when I only plan on running 1000-1200RMS MAX. Maybe OP is willing though, not sure how much power he plans on running and the budget he has available.

This shit annoys me. Don't pass it off as if his response is stopping you from bushing DC. You just stated you couldn't afford it. And as if this wasn't funny enough, OP already states he's using an AQ 3500.1 which is 4,200 watts rms at 1 ohm. So...take a step back and chill out. You state you're only running 1200 watts max, so obviously you wouldn't even need to upgrade your alt.

Never stated I couldn't afford it. ever. What annoys ME is when ppl put words in my mouth. I said I don't feel the NEED to spend $500 on an alt for the power I'm running, rather put $500 into a nice exhaust for my car, FOR EXAMPLE. He COULD have actually posted something helpful as opposed to 'heh.' like links to products that would work, or actual input to OP's issues. I was simply sharing my findings that Mechman didn't have an alt for my car, like him, and that the DC alts were more expensive for what I would need it for. Also OP has a 220 amp alt stock so he is not in that bad a position, if he got some batteries. You are the one that needs to chill...

The 220A factory alt will suffice for the time being...and I also have the xs power D3100 battery so that will help...but I DO need to upgrade the alt, which I believe I've found a few options

I have contacted mechman and nations starters & alternators via phone just a few moments ago, and both of them do seem to have a direct fit for the 2013 Durango's...mechman has to get back with me because he's checking to see if the 2010 style will be a direct fit for the 2013's...if so I will go that route (320A alt).... Nations starters & alternators has a direct fit 270A alt for the 2013's that he says out performs the 300A SPX...which is what I had in my blazer... Nations price is almost $200 more than mechman's (if mechman's fits)....
