07mazda3s Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 I installed a new system in my mazda 3 the other day... stock HU 4 gauge stinger power kit 1-15 inch kicker cvr 1-kx400.1 3 cubic foot box...I'm guessing tuned 38-40hz This is by far the loudest system I've ever had...It murders my 2 15's that were sealed. For real tho, this system slaps like hell for one sub and a 400 watt amp. I'll post pics/vids if anyones interested...I don't have any build pics of the box tho. LSN2meBoom916 Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 My brothers 1st system was One Kicker Competition 500rms/750max (b4 the days of comp/CompVR) in a 4-5cft ported box, no idea on tuning...but it HAMMERED even in a trunk car off a SS reference 500. I bet that CVR 15 gets down nicely X2 Lets see some pix.
