Can you do just a iPad mini without a Head Unit?

Can you do just a iPad mini without a Head Unit? If so, how?

Now, I've used a 3 sixty .3 before, and loved how it worked. You have a volume knob, then a bass knob. It's just.. Amazing.

I would like to have a volume knob so I don't have to slide my finger on the ipad or anything, just the knob, same for the bass.

Uhh.. I just want to know what I'm getting into and to know if it's even possible yet.

Yeah, I am doing something similar.

I am using an Ipod touch for my source directly connected to a PPI E.DZ which splits my mids/highs to the Sundown SAX100.4D and the sub output to the AB VFL 100.1.

Also there is a dude on ROE using a Nexus 7 fully dash mounted in a PTCruizer build.

I'm pretty sure you can just plug the iPad into the USB of the 3.sixty.3 and use that. I agree having the master volume and bass knobs is nice.

If anyone has a 3 sixty . 3 and can plug there iPad into it and tell me if it works, that would be awesome! The volume knob and bass knob in one is just a must have. After having it, you just can't go back to the old buttons the on the headunit or that old remote you loose all the time.
