Jessica
So its using a couple GB of ram. Uninstall and re-install firefox i guess. Maybe you have an add-on or a wackadoodle toolbar doing it? I stopped using firefox because it would just eat and eat ram too. Krakin
Almost sounds like he has a few of those toolbars slowing things down. CommonSyns
I don't know how it happened, but I do know I came back from dinner and my browser was all fucked up. Do you think I could have a virus that eats memory in browsers? I don't remember installing anything that would do something like this. Krakin
Possibly. Might look into doing a sweep with something. If anyone knows a good deep virus sweep then please suggest it. But I use Spybot: search and destroy. Got the download from Cnet. It will do one initial sweep and get what it can then, whatever else it can't get it will do another sweep when you restart your computer and get them off. Edit: Spybot also gets those annoying toolbar things off. Guest
lol why would you run 3 different scans at the same exact time?
CommonSyns
I know, Probably not the best thing to do, But its easier to do it at one time, Probably not recommended cause they can interfere with each other.
