sound proofing vehicle wiring?

Recommended Posts

What is mlv? And I don't think where or how you place your wires will effect that particular areas sound deadening abilities.

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

i was curious if anyone had any maintenance to do after they had finished up and wish they would have done it another way because taking out all that to get to the carpet alone sucked but add to that having to take the vinyl up and the foam after just to get to a couple wires might be a lot more of a pain

yup, I love it. I didnt deaden the floor pan, only mlv (my floor doesn't rattle, lol) but my panels, roof, doors etc. all got liquid deadener, mat deadener, mlv, and ccf (where applicable). car is VERY quiet now, was honestly the most enjoyable stereo related upgrade ive done!
