MD7786
So I'm hooking up a system for a buddy. Its 2 kicker dvr 12s dvc 2ohms. And a 500 watt 2 channel alpine and a 500 watt alpine mono. Would it be possible to run both off the same power wire and remote? Like split em both to each one? Am I making sense
hazestorm23
You mean power wire from battery to trunk and then to a distributor that then splits it to two and then each wire to 1 amp? If so then yes just make sure your using the right size wire 4 awg would be optimal and then after the distributor 4 ga to each one to get most power to the amps that you can. hazestorm23
Quick question bro is 1 amp for subs and 1 for speakers? I got through my head that you were planning on running both as sub amps
MD7786
Yes both sub amps. 2 diff alpine amps. And that makes sense. But what about rcas for the second. Just run them from outs on deck. It has 3 sets on back.
hazestorm23
There is rca splitters that can split your original two into four they are usually cheap
hazestorm23
Because even thou it has 3 sets of outputs usually only two are dedicated for subs and the other two for front and back speakers.
