jeepbass1
So I purchased a 04 Jeep Liberty Rocky Mountain edition just recently and of course the stock sound system had to go lol.Right now the jeep has a 4" lift and some 31" tires on some M/T SideBiter wheels. Tinted 35% all the way around except for windshield which has a 35% 5" strip.Stock Radio (Lame)New Radio Okay here we go Sub box 2 15's in a 7ish cuft box tuned to around 30.5ish hertz.Kind of messy lol2 american bass HD 15s dual 2 ohmOkay so I still got tons of work to do lol should have way more pics tomorrow. Right now the sub box has about 1/2 a gallon worth of fiberglass resin and all corners and joints where wood meets wood have 2 layers of fiberglass and to top it all off I bed lined the whole inside of the sub box. mrd6
Love the truck man! Just something right about lifted red trucks with black accents and wheels lol If I can make a suggestion, that box looks like it has pretty low port area, if you can't go larger try big roundovers on the exit and entry to bring up the efficiency and reduce port noise a bit. I bet you'll be surprised by the difference it makes My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL

jeepbass1
OK so progress today I added another 1/4" layer of birch to the port wall and that really helped with overall strength of the sub box.I also added another layer of fiberglass to the inside of the sub box and around the port.Another Jeep Pic ( I keep her way too clean)Stripped the carpet off front of box so I could add another layer of wood (1/4" birch)Started running 0 gauge wire.......So now I have 2 runs of 0 gauge front to back. jeepbass1
Some more Pic's......So I am thinking of doing a 1" thick Mdf ring to raise the subs out of the box to give it a little different look and add a tiny bit more airspace. Also thinking of raising the sub box up another 2" to help with sub loading off the roof of the jeep.
