I've already learned so much from this website and I haven't even asked any questions yet! Anyways, on to my build. *CAUTION: noobness ahead* So my car is a stick shift 1999 Nissan Maxima SE Limited. I seriously love this car so much. Here it is as of today: I really want to get the windows tinted but really am just too lazy and could put the money elsewhere I've got a JVC KD-X50BT headunit. I bought it for the bluetooth, and although some people say you lose some audio quality with bluetooth, I honestly don't care because it's freakin' awesome. I also set up the microphone it came with so I can answer a call without lifting a finger. The amplifier I purchased is a Soundqubed Q1-1200D, and I absolutely love it. The box was designed by PWK Designs. I sent him my stats, he sent me the blueprints, and I built it. I honestly believe that smart engineering is superior to brute force after hearing this "optimally" designed enclosure. Oh yeah, roughly 4.5 cubes @ 31 Hz. Oh, and I love the bass knob thingy. And my current sub. I hate to admit it but before I did any research I bought this 12" Song XPLOD sub. Yes, I know. But surprisingly enough, it actually sounds decent! Decent is all relative, of course. But I am going to purchase an HDC315 VERY soon. So don't worry. I also plan on doing the big 3 and purchasing an XS Power battery since so any people swear by them. Comments? Suggestions? Thanks for looking!

iball1804 Posted September 29, 2013 Author Report Posted September 29, 2013 Picked up a DD 3512 recently instead of an HDC315 and ABOSLUTELY love it. Currently running it at 1200w @ 1 ohm. Starting to get some serious flex from the windows and can successfully perform a receipt trick! I plan on adding more power, batteries and a new alternator pretty soon, along with replacing all the stock speakers with PWX's and FT1 super tweets. There's always more to do!
