How in the hell did you hide the screw holes

Is there a write up on how its done I've seen a lot just like this and it boggles my mind.

DSC02021.jpg

I know how to make the Double Baffles and such but haven't figured out how they mount the speaker and make the screw holes disappear

Do they mount them from behind or something, I always thought it was just a trim ring they all use to hide but then how would you get to the speakers

Looking for a really good write up with pictures or something

I’ve asked on FF and no has answered me

thanks

The speakers are mounted from behind.

And that is not double baffled.

It is just a 3/4" ring routed with a 1/2" roundover both inside and outside the ring.

You asked on FGF 10 minutes before you posted here.

You gotta have some patients and be more observant.

I just pointed ount on FGF that the answers you wanted were 2 post above yours.

I'm willing to help if your willing to help yourself. Search button.

No this is way before I just asked today again was on that site for a while before I lost all my info and my old email would'ed work for them to send me my user name.

So I started a new account

yes and I thank you for that in my other topic about all the filler and resin questions :)

So to the question you just answered today

So after I have everything done from the front I just cut all the backside out from every mounting baffle and then seal it all up again or do just leave it all open and use the Door as the Air space for the Midbass Drivers. Was going to do the double baffle and just make a nice grill but this seems very easy

Also can this trick be used on Kicks to or would I have to make a trim ring to hide the screws making mine just like Groundpounders using the factory kick

I'm very excited now even with the -20 weather I want to go and make my doors [/color]

Would you have any pictures showing how the rings should look and what the back side would look like after
