Its up and running, Although I will say I feel like i messed up quite a bit in my first ever computer build.

I agree with the SSD fans. Just get an SSD big enough for your OS + a few gigs (windows 7 would do fine on a 64 gb). Boot time is so much faster. Just use a drive clone software to clone your drive to the SSD, then you'll have that 1TB drive for media storage.

I highly recommend an SSD as well, however my opinion on storage size is a little different.. I wholeheartedly believe once you have an SSD you'll kick yourself for not being able to install you applications and games to the SSD. There is quite a bit of loading time difference between the two. I personally won't buy anything smaller than a 128GB SSD and I won't buy anything other than the samsung 840 pro.. The 840 pro is the best drive on the market right now, best memory best controller, best performance.

i went with the hyperX 120 by kingston SSD when i built mine about 2months ago.

But i went with Ivy and not haswell

For the price of an SSD, is it really all that amazing? I thought they really had a limited read / write ability, Something about ihops or something like that.
