Kenyel Dotts Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 sounds crazy but they do this to circuit bordes all the time. they even do it to mother bordes I think they have a clip on you tube. as long as there is no power and compacitos are dead you can do it. ChevyBoy95 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 No need to dip the board in water. Amp is most likely dead. Good luck. Take the bottom of the heat sink off an check the board for anything out of place. And DB-r does quality work, you might have to wait for about a month. CDetty Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 Thanks everyone for their help! I figured out the problem, and I dont owe my friend a new amp! The fuse on my power wire somehow got incredibly mangled. It got twisted, melted, and then the wire started to oxidize. (I got the wire free and didn't know it was CCA 0/1 gauge). 1999 Honda Civic- RIP 2003 Acura RSX Type-S
