BigPimpin91 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Share Posted February 28, 2008 Louder doesn't depend on the ohm load of the coils. It depends on the Ohm load at the amp. So yes, if he is running 1 sub Dual 2ohm wired to 1 ohm at the amp would be louder than 2ohm at the amp. For two subwoofers I would go with d4 options to get a 1 ohm load at the amplifier. If the amp is stable at less than 1 ohm go for the Dual 2's. Which would drop it down to 0.5 ohms. BigPimpin91's Banging Music Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
