Rl-p 2ohm Or 4?

had a buddy ask me what he should order hes getting 2 RL-P 18's but he ask "which will be louder 2ohm or 4ohm.." no clue what amp he has/ going to get.

Louder doesn't depend on the ohm load of the coils.

It depends on the Ohm load at the amp.

So yes, if he is running 1 sub Dual 2ohm wired to 1 ohm at the amp would be louder than 2ohm at the amp.

For two subwoofers I would go with d4 options to get a 1 ohm load at the amplifier.

If the amp is stable at less than 1 ohm go for the Dual 2's.

Which would drop it down to 0.5 ohms.
