Picked up anothe 2200 for the future. Guy said it was 10/10.. Got the amp and 3 of the 4 screw threads are stripped.. The screw just gets like two threads and just falls in. It keeps the wire in but with bass it kinda loosens. How can I retread them? Anyone know a place in Houston?

You could take it to a machine shop, they will have all the tools and possibly the set screws to replace the old one.. Or go buy a tap and tap them yourself.

One of my 3500s did that, just one set screw, I have mine kinda rigged at the moment, when I get time I am just just going to send it into Soundqubed and have them fix it. I hate messing with small stuff like this that is critical to the amp working correctly. But you can take it to someone I would imagine and have them re tap it and fix it.

You can either bring it to a machine shop or go to autozone or oreillys and they have that loan a tool program and you can get a tap and die set. And most times if you got some good guys working there, they'll do it for you. Its not hard, just gotta be easy with it.

Alright cool guys. Thank you. Yeah, mine is rigged, it works.. Just gets annoying some times knowing about it. Plus I can do 4 8g outputs instead of just using two lol
