But had i know it did not have this feature i would have purchased something else. I think i may use it for my mids. That's kind of what it was designed to be used for. Seriously, do you really need a SSF? Are you playing that far below tuning that often? There are some called fmod I think which are fixed at 30 and 35hz if I remember right and then there is an adjustable one called pfmod I think? I heard mixed reviews on the fmods with some people saying it muddied the bass so I bought the adjustable one. It suited my install better too. I felt like that one was muddying my bass/limiting output where it shouldn't have been so I stopped using it. Turns out my amp had a fixed subsonic built in already -this may have been the cause, check if yours does! I have been meaning to hook it up to my oscope to see exactly what it is doing but haven't gotten to it yet. I'm not so sure I would bother with these. A lot of audiocontrol crossovers/line drivers/epicenters have subsonic filters. You have to order swappable jumper chips from them to change it which is kind of a pain in the ass but I hear they are easy to make yourself. Never did find any specific instructions though. You might be able to find some crossover that would let you set a 30hz (or whatever you need) highpass or something but that is kind of an expensive solution. Other than that you are pretty much SOL if you really want to have it. Like others said you might not even need it. I have been listening to a lot of bass boosted/miami bass/etc. type music recently and even that stuff doesn't really go THAT low, its just really loud. Even when it does its usually a quieter sound at a lower bass frequency playing at the same time as a louder sound at a higher bass frequency. The lower noise probably isn't enough to blow anything up. Don't get me wrong if you are looking for stuff that goes that low it is out there but it's not common at all.
