Im running 0 gauge wire, the amp hasnt even gotten warm honestly. I got the biggest sealed battery I could when my old one went out.

Dude its gonna drop mad low volts on stock.... its gonna constantly go into thermal. Sundown clicks off around 11.8ish volts and if your gonna run it at 2 your still gonna have problems.

Any xs or kenitik batts? What guage wire?

And yeah you can run each sub to amp make sure to run series parallel though... dont run .5

That amp should be fine on stock alt at 2 ohms, I run mine at 1 ohm with a stock 120 amp alt, stock batt, and a beat up deka, and I hold 13's(on music), it drains as much power as my Hifonics BRZ 1200 did.

It also never gets hot, even in a confined space, in Florida, and even after a soft clip burp making it drop at 11.5(This amp starts losing its efficiency when you clip and burp it), it still doesn't get hot nor does it shut off.

OP series-parallel on each sub, and connect each sub to a terminal. I wouldn't run that amp at .5 either on stock alt.
