All you gotta do it remove it from that area then take the A Pillar plastic cover and fiberglass over the holes. then fill, sand, prime and paint. Or you might be able to find a different chevy that didnt come with the handle and use that panel. As for the TV if you have to ask then I would recommend you DONT do it or at least have someone else do it. There are plenty of sources on this forum about how to glass, those will help get you started and should give you a general idea on how hard of a task for a beginner it is to do a TV in the dash.
