ASxTech Posted October 2, 2013 Author Report Posted October 2, 2013 Depending on what your goal is for the car/truck thing lol you could look in to doing a blow threw with it since you have a bed and it will hide everything nicely and open up a lot more space. If you don't want to do that I would go with 2 sa 8's since they require a smaller box then your 12's and they should sound so much better being in the rite box. Unfortunately Blow through is out of the question here where i live modifying cars is heavily targeted by police and they would take the car off the road Plus i use the tray for Motobikes I'll Get some dimensions when i get home from work but i would rather stay with 10's or 12's but getting brands like SA-8 gets very expensive real quick
jarrius Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 You could do soundqubed sdc2.5 10's there a bit cheaper I think and sound great 2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d 140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed) 140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL 142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at) 141 on music. strangeduck,on 02 Jan 2014 - 01:39 AM, said: when my car spins out i just put the car in neutral, turn in the direction i want to go and pucker my asshole

john253a Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 ive done a few of theise go with 3x 75mm ports (you can get the 3" psp on amazon) you won't fit the flare on the top only inside as for other subs you may wish to bring in 2 sa8 with shipping will cost you close to 750au so you can rule out almots all imports i like to go with 2x 10 ported or 2x 12 or 13" sealed (jl audio slim 13.5 if leg room is needed) how much power you throwing at them?

Im a little confused So you would recommend 3 circle ports at 75mm wide, Im guess long will be a big factor ? thats a bit out of my price range Leg room isnt a issue in my current box so ill had a think over night ill stay with the rockford for now I only have a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D for now but looking to upgrade
john253a Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 the 1700 is good for the 2 p3, i would go any more yes idd do 3x 75mm/3" ports or 2x 100mm/4" if you do the 4" you'll have to bend them or run them outside the box when i do the 3" i french them in so i can build the box higher, or baloney cut (if you do this the measurement is measured from the middle of the cut) i also noticed your not using the space behind the drivers seat under the battery cover board, if your amps there fit under pass seat i also would add speakers back there either, idd put a better set up front, something that can take some decent power
