TylerParrish Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 You could always try looking for an EQ that you could hook to your headunit. Most of them have an aux in as well. Macgyver76 Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 You have had the headunit out already you said yes? If so then you probably noticed there is NO antenna connector on the "headunit". This car uses a 2 piece radio. You will need some 9 wire cable as well as an antenna extension cable. Power/ground/Acc will be found up front at "radio" all the speakers and antenna will come forward from the trunk. The tuner/amp is in the trunk. I don't remember if its drivers or passengers side. I haven't done one of these in a good number of years. You will also need an antenna adapter for the trunk end as its not a standard antenna plug. If you need further help I can look up the speaker wires and post the info for you.
Macgyver76 Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Heres the info.... Amp/Tuner is in left side of trunk. Power antenna lead is: Red wire with a pink tracer Left front speaker (+):Light Blue wire with white tracer Left front speaker (-):Orange wire with light green tracer Right front speaker (+):Green wire with orange tracer Right front speaker (-):White wire with light green tracer Left rear speaker (+):Tan wire with yellow tracer Left rear speaker (-):Grey wire with light blue tracer Right rear speaker (+):Brown wire with pink tracer Right rear speaker (-):Orange wire with red tracer Cut them all, solder the ones you just cut loose from the amp/tuner to the 9 wire and run to the new head unit. Enjoy.
