JMastermind Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Im going to be getting the new rockford T1s with the T1500 and what size box should I go with to get the best sound and loudness...and what tuning would be best? Its going to be sealed off facing the cabin, I heard this is the best way to go with subs so Im gonna do it this way this time, Also pushing this power should I get a second battery and put in the back or just get one good battery and put it in the front? I was thinking jus adding a kinetik in the trunk with a relay
Brandonbkd Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Go on the RF website and they have recommended box sizes there. As for the battery, a good AGM battery under the hood should be enough. jarrius Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 For box size look at rf says then look at how much space you have design a box with the space you have and if it does not Mach rf then don't get the 2 12's may be just 1. Also as for the amp big 3 and upgraded batt in front and I would say a second one in the back will help a lot to. If you add the second one in the back make sure you use 1/0 wire for your run to the back and grounds then what ever size wire te amp takes 2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d 140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed) 140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL 142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at) 141 on music. strangeduck,on 02 Jan 2014 - 01:39 AM, said: when my car spins out i just put the car in neutral, turn in the direction i want to go and pucker my asshole
Kyblack76 Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Go slightly larger on volume than recommended. And also, tune a bit lower than rec. Ran the same subs, on a 2500bdcp. And I went straight across the board on RF's rec's. IMHO, more volume, and a bit lower tune would have been optimal, even on that power. I feel that rf's spec, are VERY generic, for a broad base of buyers. Just me. Good luck with what ever ya do. SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
