Okay, just bought this car 2 days ago. $12,000 after taxes. I want to drop less than $3 grand into her car audio and lighting wise. The interior lighting and dash is bright red, so I figured I'd match the lighting of the inside. So question: What would you put in this car?

Where would you place LED lights? I'm thinking of buying HID lights for the headlights and put some LED glow in the grill and bottom trim.

At the moment I have a sundown saz-1500d and a sax-100.4. I got 3 sa 6.5cs, 50 feet of 1/0gauge cca, and 2 xp750. I'm going to be selling the e8v3 subs, they were loud as hell for 8s, but I want more pressure movement, so I'm settling for 2 12s or 2 15s. Obviously it's going to have to be low power beasts. I want to stick with sundown, but if I can find something that's just as good and a little cheaper...I won't mind buying it and trying it out.

She's a Pontiac G6.

Lol two words for the wall it: HELL NO!

That's what this thread is for, I need ideas. I want to go DC audio...but my last 12" subs...blew the triple joints...which I found out later, DC audio is massively known for blowing triple joints.

First I don't think you can fit 2 15's in there with a proper box. From what I remember from my moms g6 they had a small trunk so it might be tight for 2 12's. But if that's what you want you can do 2 sundown sa 12's or 2 soundqubed sdc2.5 12's or... Run just 1 hdc3 12 in a 2.6cubic foot box off that 1500w amp

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.

Buddy of mine has a g6, two 15s would be real tight if u could even fit it. I agree with the 2 SA 12. Or maybe try 2 C2 Audio subs, they would be better on the wallet and people seem to like em

My audio system

HU - Kenwood KDC bt755HD

Subs - Sundown SA 10 -2

Amplifier - CT Sounds 900.1

Car - 2013 scion TC

Get 2 SA12s and seal them off. It'd take up a fraction of the space of 2 15s, not to mention the pain it'll be to even fit a box for 15s in there.

Ah, yeah, I'm going to pay this car off. It's easier on my wallet so I have some money that I can put aside for a custom SRT core. Don't be so sad. I'll have another challenger in the future lol.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of doing. Going to have my buddy help me with sealing it off and putting wires through the whole thing.
