I have a 02 dodge ram 1500 SLT which had a custom console enclosure that's 1 cu which I want to install a rockford fosgate t1d212 but it requires 1.25 cu so if I line this box with Polly fill will I b ok? It's gonna run off a punch 700x1 bd at 1 ohm... Any advice will b highly appreciated... Thanks

The box size seems small for that subwoofer. Will it work? - Yes. You'll be able to get the woofer to work in that enclosure but you always want to run the driver in recommended enclosure space for maximum performance and handling. You also run the risk of damaging a driver if not in the proper enclosure.

While it is small you can probably get away with it if you have no other options, but if you have the time to build something bigger one day, I think you would be quite pleased with the added performance that comes from the new enclosure.

I have that driver in a 2.75 cu box with two 4" precision ports tuned to 34Hz ran off a 1999 RF Power 1000a1 in 1ohm pushing about 1100+ watts. The sub loves the larger box and sounds great. Definitely build a bigger box in the future.

Wow , is that one sub or two?? I'm only running one in a sealed box.. It's hard to make it bigger because it's a custom build to replace my lower console in my 02 dodge ram 1500 slt and I was able to mount the top arm rest back on top which functions 100% so my space is very limited... Do u know anybody who builds these console boxes bigger then 1 cu?? Any help is highly appreciated!!!!! I also have two 10's under my back seat which is all fiberglass bottom and 3/4 MDF top with two T1D410's and they only have .80 in each cu and sound crazy loud!!!!
