FuriousG
You don't have an auto antenna, and don't just disconnect battery and stick meter in there. If it's a computer staying awake, when you dc battery it may reset and you will see no draw. You need to jumper the connection from batt to cable, disconnect cable, connect meter inline and then remove jumper. If you are looking for things to check, I have replaced dozens of BCM's in W cars for this, they like to stay awake.
finkster
Why are we checking random things when we could just pull fuses and find out where the draw is coming from in the first place? It takes 10 minutes. DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living
finkster
To add, by actually doing a draw test it helps to solve future problems using the same method. Just randomly checking things doesn't help you learn how to properly diagnose. It could be something as simple as a trunk light staying on to the power window stuck in the up position, all of which can be found in the same amount of time by just doing it the right way. finkster
My bet is on (and again, just follow the video and find out in 10 minutes) moisture/water in a light socket. Let's say in the unlikely event that 3 separate circuits have parasitic draw on them....you can STILL find all of them in under 10 minutes lol. jarrius
Sounds like your alt is dead. When you test voltage from your alt make sure it's nice and warm first. My wife's alt went bad and the only way to find out was to let it run for a bit to heat up then the alt would not charge at all. The voltage went done to 11-10 2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d 140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed) 140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL 142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at) 141 on music. strangeduck,on 02 Jan 2014 - 01:39 AM, said: when my car spins out i just put the car in neutral, turn in the direction i want to go and pucker my asshole
